Le Corsaire

Ahoy !

This project was a lot of fun ! I think I’m starting to really enjoy hand-painting!
It was fascinating to see what can be done with various software tools, i never used 3DCoat before and it was really interesting.
We made some pass on photoshop as well.

For this 3-week course on a sculpt, retopology and hand-painted bust, guided by Camille Delmeule, I chose to recreate the superb concept by Samuel Pirlot-Petroff’s Corsaire (https://www.artstation.com/samuelpirlotpetroff) because i just love Pirate mood so much and i love this guy face !
